We stayed one night while passing through and booked a family room with two bedrooms. The room was clean and newly equipped with modern charm. The hotel staff was attentive, bringing us extra blankets and linens for our third child. Breakfast was rich and fresh, served on a table by the restaurant staff who were very accommodating. Private parking and a nice quality restaurant with fine cuisine were also available.

I had a wonderful stay at a comfortable hotel in a fantastic location. The tram stop right outside made it convenient to explore Freiburg and the cable car. Despite previous reviews mentioning noise, I didn't experience any disturbances during my stay in October. The restaurant at the hotel, the Kuhler Krug, was excellent, albeit a bit pricey. However, there were also other great dining options nearby. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort and ideal location.

The restaurant at the hotel also offers traditional Black Forest specialties and fish dishes. And let me tell you, they were so delicious that I had to resist the urge to lick my plate clean. The flavors were bursting with authenticity, taking my taste buds on a journey through the picturesque landscapes of the Black Forest. I couldn't help but think that each bite was like a love letter from the region itself.
